The Learning Curve at adriantnester.com is a place of reflection for my teaching, learning, and parenting.

At six-years-old my oldest son was asked to describe what I like to do for a Mother’s Day project. His response: drink water and grade papers. While that has to make me the most boring person in the world, I actually do a lot of both of those things. I have just completed my 17th year as an educator, but instead of doing the “same-old-thing”, I am ready to throw out the playbook. While I am not drinking water and grading papers, I enjoy traveling, spending time with my family, reading, and playing sports.
